Austria's glass recycling system has been in existence for over 40 years. As a country achieving a recycling rate close to 90%, the Austrian experience will be an invaluable asset to Close The Glass Loop. Through its central role at the heart of the collection & recycling system for glass, Austria Glas Recycling and its parent company ARA, member of PROsPA, will continue to engage with consumers, local authorities, the waste disposal industry and the glass manufacturers to ensure that collected glass is turned back into glass packaging.Learn more by downloading the National Action Plan below.
