Registrations for the Close the Glass Loop Annual Event are Open!

We're thrilled to announce that for the first time, our Annual Event will bring together professionals of the glass collection & recycling value chain from across Europe in one place, on the 29th of June 2023 in Brussels (Belgium).

For the first time since the launch of Close the Glass Loop in June 2020, the community of glass collection & recycling professionals will meet in person to reaffirm its joint commitment of reaching an EU-wide average of 90% glass collection for recycling by 2030.

That’s what Paving the Way to 90 is all about.

At the event, you will be hearing from key policy-makers on the revision of the Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation, and you will engage with 2 high-level value chain panels on the required policies for closed loop glass packaging recycling, and the measures taken by the value chain to ensure ever more glass packaging is recycled into new bottles and jars.

In addition, you will be invited to visit the booths of our National Platforms, where you will meet glass experts who will answer all the questions you may have on the local characteristics of glass collection & recycling. And, last but not least, you’ll get all the information you need about Close the Glass Loop’s priorities and perspective!
